Domestic Medium Term Notes (MTN's)

This program raised funds for terms of one year and longer. This type of financing is arranged through Canadian investment dealers who work with staff on a reverse-inquiry basis to design securities in response to specific investor demands. MTN's were:

• issued in the domestic market
• denominated in Canadian or U.S. dollars and documented under British Columbia law
• settled through The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (CDS)
• book-based form (non-bearer) only
• typically issued in sizes from $25 to $250 million Canadian dollars on an agency basis (as opposed to underwritten)

This program has been replaced with the Domestic Debt Issuance Program (DDIP).
