Dale Pope, Q.C. is self employed in a practice of counsel work and mediation. Previously, he was Counsel to the Davis LLP law firm and a senior member of its Alternate Dispute Resolution and Pacific Affairs Practice Groups. His expertise involves regulatory and administrative board proceedings, and civil litigation in many areas. Mr. Pope has been appointed Standing Agent of the Attorney General of Canada and has been the presiding officer to many Competition Act administrative proceedings. His regulatory experience also includes being Counsel for BC Tel at the Canadian Radio and Television Commission (CRTC), Counsel for West Kootenay Power at the BC Utilities Commission, and Counsel for commercial property assessments at the Property Assessment Appeal Board. Active in the community, he served as Chair for the Vancouver Public Library Trust, and a member of the Touchstone Theatre Society Board and the Molson Indy Vancouver Advisory Group. He currently serves as a member of the Property Assessment Appeal Board, a member of Cedars Society and Director of Octopus Technologies Inc. Mr. Pope holds his Bachelor of Arts and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor.
