From 1986 until 1997 Gus Richardson was the Director of Adult Forensic Psychiatric Services of BC. His background is in the risk assessment of mentally ill people and with mental health systems. Currently, he is the Proprietor of Majar Human Resources which provides consulting serves to groups and agencies seeking assistance. Active in the community, he is a member of the Mental Health Review Board and Past President of the John Howard Society in the Central and South Okanagan. Previously, he served as a Director on a variety of boards including the BC Association for Community Living, the Kindale Developmental Society, the Lookout Emergency Services Society, and the BC Criminal Justice Association as Past President. Mr. Richardson holds his Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Sir George Williams University and his Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary.
