Oleg Tomchenko retired as a lawyer after a 38-year career. He was a founding and senior partner of BTM Lawyers LLP (formerly Burke Tomchenkio Duprat). During his career he practiced in various areas but his latter concentrations were in business and intellectual property law providing service to clients in private and not for profit sectors. He was also a Registered Trade Mark Agent. Active in his community he served as a Member of the Economic Development Committee of the City of Port Moody, a Member of the Advisory Planning Committee of the Village of Anmore, was the founding and long time Chair of the Rotary Club of Port Moody Foundation, and an original Director of the Rainbow Foundation, Canada. Mr. Tomchenko holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and a Bachelor of Laws both from the University of British Columbia and a certificate in International Intellectual Property Law from the University of Oxford.
