Joshua Apland is a social worker with practice experience in the area of mental health and addiction. Mr. Apland worked as a legal advocate for Community Legal Assistance Society for six years before going back to school to obtain his Masters Degree. While completing his Masters Degree, Mr. Apland participated in an internship with Fraser Health exploring mental health and substance use (MHSU) client experiences with services as well as an internship with BC Cancer Agency in the Patient and Family Counseling Clinic. Prior to his position with Community Legal Assistance Society, he worked as a Community Mental Health Worker for the Coast Mental Health Foundation. Mr. Apland currently holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
