Yasin Amlani is a corporate and real estate Lawyer. After serving as Managing Partner at a suburban law firm, he moved on to operate his own law practice, including serving as an advisor to various professional and business alliances. He now practices part-time while also advising as a business and legal consultant. His previous work experience also includes serving as a regional franchise coordinator for a national Canadian franchise as well as in-house consultant to a Fortune 500 financial services company. Active in his community, Mr. Amlani serves as the Honorary Secretary (Vice Chair) of the Aga Khan Social Welfare Board for Canada, preparing and overseeing objectives, strategies, and budgets, and supervising all portfolios, staff and volunteers. He has held various senior positions on volunteer Boards, including as Honorary Secretary (Vice President) of the Ismaili Council for BC, and as a Member of the Conciliation and Arbitration Board for BC. Mr. Amlani received his Bachelor of Science, specialization in Mathematical and Life Sciences, and Law degrees from the University of British Columbia. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
