Doris Muldowney was a Family Counsellor with Dawson Creek Catholic Social Services Society in Dawson Creek, BC, where she provided individual, couples and family counselling services for many years to a wide range of adult and youth clients. Previously, Ms. Muldowney worked as a Skills Teaching Specialist for Mental Health Services, a community-based psychiatric rehabilitation program of the YM-YWCA of Winnipeg, MB, where she delivered a broad spectrum of individualized and group-based psychosocial rehabilitation services for adult clients recovering from severe and persistent mental illness. Previously, Ms. Muldowney volunteered with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Unity House and the Regional Mental Health Advisory Committee (Northern Lights Region) to the Alberta Mental Health Board. Ms. Muldowney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (With Distinction) from Athabasca University and a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of Manitoba. Ms. Muldowney is a Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
