Rena Dhir has 10 years of experience working as a Board Member for the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB). She was appointed to the IRB as a Board Member for the Refugee Protection Division (RPD) then later transferred to the Refugee Appeals Division (RAD). Prior to her work as a Board Member, Ms. Dhir worked as a Controller and Senior Accountant for various companies in the Vancouver area. She also completed the Immigration Consulting program at the University of British Columbia and established her own immigration consulting company. Ms. Dhir is actively involved in many charities and enjoys giving back to the community through various fundraising initiatives. Currently, she volunteers as a Fundraising and Event Volunteer for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Ms. Dhir completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia and successfully obtained her accounting designation as a CGA (now CPA).
