Cross-government Procurement Reviews

The Procurement Governance Office, in carrying out its responsibility for a framework to monitor and report compliance with corporate procurement policy, requested Internal Audit and Advisory Services to develop and implement a process to regularly assess cross-government compliance with corporate procurement policy.

There have been three cross-government reviews of contracts. The first two reviews showed progressive improvements in compliance with contracting policies over the previous years, and the 2006 review showed significant improvements across government in compliance with contracting policies.
