Assistant Deputy Minister’s Office / Treasury Board Operations

The Deputy Secretary to Treasury Board is responsible for developing and maintaining a sustainable fiscal environment built on balanced budgets. A sustainable fiscal environment is currently defined as achieving two primary fiscal targets: balanced budgets and a declining trend in the debt-to-GDP ratio over the medium term. The office is also responsible for maintaining a strategic organization and building capacity to deliver effective services today and in the future.

The Treasury Board Operations group provides support to meetings of the Treasury Board including meeting coordination, facilitating audio-video conferences between Chambers and the Premier’s Vancouver Office, agenda management, minute coordination, monitoring recusals and facilitating security of members and information. This group also takes care of division financial and administrative matters across the division so executive can focus on program functions.
