Revised Property Transfer Tax Instruction Guides
Both the "Instruction Guide for Completion of General and Special Property Transfer
Tax Returns" and the "Instruction Guide for Completion of First Time Home Buyers'
Tax Return" have been revised to incorporate changes to the Property Transfer
Tax Act introduced by the Honourable Elizabeth Cull, Minister of Finance and
Corporate Relations, under the Budget Measures Implementation Act, 1995 (Bill
2). These changes are outlined in Information Bulletin
1-95.
A copy of each of the revised guides is included in this package. Stock of both is now available from the Forms Reorder Number (604) 652-8312.
- Existing stock of the "Instruction Guide for Completion of General and Special Property Transfer Tax Returns" may continue to be used,
or the guide included in this package may be photocopied until stock is reordered.
- Existing stock of the "Instruction Guide for Completion of First Time Home Buyers' Tax Return" must be discarded and the guide included in this package photocopied until stock is reordered. First Time Home Buyers' must be provided with a copy of the revised instruction guide.
